A Harris Poll found that 81% of adults aged 55 or older were more likely to make their financial decisions based upon current news headlines. Yikes! With the current state of affairs in our Country, every time you turn on the news you might find a reason to make changes to your investments! No one knows what the future holds. However, history has taught us that making emotional decisions when it comes to your investments can be risky. If you’re working and continually feeding your 401(k), be diversified, rebalance your portfolio at least once a year and stay the course. Oh, and maybe turn off the news occasionally!
